FAQ
Popular questions...answered!
Q: What's with the donation badges?
A: I know many artists who take donations in lieu of someone not wanting to purchase their art. Sometimes it's cheaper to donate a little than to pay for a full piece of art. Also let's face it, I haven't seen too many web sites that don't take donations. Helps pays the bills.
Q: Did you design all this?
A: Yes! My day job is a web designer, so programming web pages and making flash animations is something I like to do. I do take commissions for web site design, contact me for details.
Q: Why does your stuff seem a bit more pricey than Designer B?
A: I am very picky about the quality of my materials for projects. Designer B may settle for cheaper materials, like acrylic beads or regular Sculpey clay. I like to keep my projects to higher standards, such as semi-precious gemstones and Premo! polymer clay. The quality of the product definitely makes up for the slight price increase.
Q: Do you have a resume and professional portfolio?
A: For all perspective employers, please visit my sample portfolio at http://www.carolynmccarthyart.com
